Drone Field Spraying Indonesia

Riau

Riau is known for some of Indonesia’s largest oil palm areas, and much of it sits on peat.

Working on peat

On peat, heavy vehicles sink and estate roads break up quickly. A drone never touches the ground, so spraying and fertilising can continue in the wet season. In the dry season we watch haze closely, because visibility affects flight safety.

Airports and airspace

Areas around airports, including Pekanbaru and Dumai, need approval. We check where your estate sits relative to those zones before scheduling.
